Rainlight Rosary — A Rosary of Rain and Light

Czech Glass and Rain Drops

The main beads are transparent Czech fire-polished beads.

Their beauty is gentle rather than dramatic.

When light touches them, they seem to glow softly, like drops of rain.

Throughout the decades, Swarovski Austrian crystal beads were added as small accents.

Their sharper sparkle catches the light differently.

Together, the two kinds of beads create the feeling of rain touched by sunlight.

As I worked on this rosary, a particular image kept returning.

A garden filled with green leaves and flowers.

Rain falling softly.

And Mary standing quietly among them.
