He Dressed Up as the Pope (via AI). I’m Not Amused

A certain world leader decided to generate an AI image of himself dressed as the Pope and post it online.

Ha ha?

No. I’m not laughing.

I Can’t Stay Silent About This One

I usually avoid writing about things like this.
I don’t like to rant online, and as a person of faith, I try not to speak out of anger.

But this time...
I just couldn’t stay quiet.

The leader of a certain country has done it again.
Not long ago, he caused a stir by saying:

“I'd like to be pope.

At the time, I thought:

Excuse me? Say that again?

It was absurd, yes — but I still hoped it was just a tasteless joke.

Now he’s pretending to be the Pope?

Now he’s posted an AI-generated image of himself dressed as the Pope on social media.
Which means — first he said he wanted to be Pope,
and now he’s playing pretend like he already is.

Seriously?

That’s not just tasteless. It’s downright disrespectful.

For Catholics — and for many others — the papacy isn’t a celebrity costume.
It’s a sacred office that deserves reverence, not mockery.

Using an AI to cosplay as the Pope?
That’s not funny.
That’s offensive.

If this is “humor,” I’m deeply concerned.

What exactly is the joke here?
Because I fail to see anything funny.

Either he doesn’t understand the concept of respect,
or he’s never had to treat anything sacred with care.

History is whispering...

The more I watch, the more I see echoes of past tyrants —
people obsessed with power, image, and their own legacy.

And honestly,
It’s chilling.

You can’t take it with you.

Power, fame, money —
I’m sure he adores them.

But let’s be clear:

None of that goes with you when you die.

And as for what awaits on the other side...
Only God knows.

I still choose prayer — but not silence.

As a believer, I want to choose prayer over outrage.
But when love, truth, and reverence are trampled in broad daylight,
silence feels like complicity.

The world seems to drift further and further from peace and compassion.

So just for today, I raised my voice — just a little.
And yes,
I’m still praying.

(P.S. I just realized… I’ve probably banned myself from entering the U.S. for a while. Oh well. Please forgive any non-native English slips along the way — but the outrage is 100% real.)

Update: Apparently, he claimed, “Someone else did that — it wasn’t me.”
But seriously, who’s buying that?
